Over 25 years of experience in residential and commercial design and construction.

Our History

Since 1999, our team has been in involved in designing and building custom and luxury homes, multi-family, and commercial property in Metro Vancouver and the Interior of BC. Over this time, we’ve developed extensive hands-on knowledge of the methods, processes, and technologies used throughout the build process, and have managed meticulously tight schedules while maintaining a high degree of perfection that clients expect on high profile projects. Understanding of the details involved in every stage of construction provides valuable foresight from the beginning stages of the design process. In 2022 we expanded our service to include energy consulting, and have a dedicated in-house CHBA Qualified Net Zero Energy Advisor and Certified Passive House Consultant ready to guide your project for optimal energy efficiency.

Consulting

At the outset of a project, it’s important to align your ideas, goals, and budget to determine a roadmap to get your design started. We look for ways to increase efficiency – both of your finished home’s performance, as well as throughout the building process.

Design and Drafting

Turning your project into reality starts with plans with great attention to detail. Whether you need basic floor plans, or full colour 3D rendering to help you visualize your project, we’re ready to help! Our deep knowledge of BC Building Code ensures your plans have sufficient information to provide a smooth build. Over 25 years of hands-on construction experience ensures that construction details are well thought out and considered before work starts.

Whether you need basic renovation drawings for a renovation/addition, or a full custom home design, we can accommodate your project.

Energy Advising

Whether your project is new construction or a renovation, we offer in-house energy modelling / energy advising. This tandem approach reduces delays prior to obtaining your building permit, and allows us to seamlessly ensure your project meets any applicable energy codes. If you are renovating, we can coordinate with trades on a deep energy retrofit to find ways to increase the efficiency of your home and lower your energy bills. We are also Passive House and CHBA Net Zero Qualified to help guide your project towards your energy saving goals.

Building Testing & Certification

Testing your building for energy performance is important both during the construction process and once it is complete. Mid-construction testing confirms your construction is on target to achieve the proposed energy goals. Utilizing calibrated blower door testing equipment, infrared thermography, and theatrical fog – we are able to identify any issues, and look for opportunities to further increase the performance, often at little to no additional cost. Upon completion of your project, we provide final building code compliance reports for your local building department and issue your home an offical EnerGuide energy label.
